Welcome to Moments with Zoe!
Zoe is an exceptionally sweet, joyful and talented little girl who was very recently diagnosed with a Medula Blastoma, a type of brain cancer. Her official diagnosis is:
Embryonal Tumor with Abundant Neurophil and true Rosettes (ETANTR).
This is a very rare type of cancer and is found in only 10 other cases in the world.
She is an amazing young girl with a strong fight for life! Please keep checking back for updates on her condition, upcoming fundraisers, and other ways you might can help the Zoe Austin family!

On tuesday March 23, 10 Zoe's mother Kirsten (after much persistance) got her daughter in to see a local opthamologist. She had been having migrane type headaches and her right eye had begun to slightly cross. Her pediatrician had recommended she have the eye exam feeling sure she needed glasses. The eye Dr. noticed right away that her optic nerve was distorted from some type of pressure in her head. He told Kirsten she would need to get Zoe an MRI. She asked a question about scheduling and he cut her short saying, she needs to go NOW, they are waiting for you. The MRI revealed that she had a brain tumor the size of a golf ball. The Dr. informed her that Zoe had a "massive brain tumor", and that she would be transported to Cook's for immediate surgery. John and Kirsten arrived at Cook's shortly there after and have been there since.
